AgitÁgueda Art Festival 2023
AgitÁgueda is a cultural event that makes a significant contribution to the artistic scene of the city, being a festival that has welcomed hundreds of groups and artists since its debut in 2006. In addition, the city of Águeda is transformed into a vibrant art show public, with unique urban installations and thousands of colourful umbrellas that decorate the streets. One of the highlights of the event is the large tent provided by GlobalTendas, which stands out as one of the main attractions for the thousands of visitors who enjoy the 23 days of animation, shows and street entertainment.
Urban Art and Captivating Installations
Águeda becomes an open-air gallery during this major event, where urban art and creative installations fill the streets with colour and life. Thousands of colourful umbrellas are suspended over the streets, creating a dazzling and unique visual spectacle. In addition, dozens of points in the city are meticulously painted in vibrant colours, transforming garden benches and staircases into veritable artistic rainbows. This mix of designs and colours creates a magical atmosphere that enchants visitors and residents of Águeda throughout the event.
The Giant Tent by GlobalTendas
One of the main highlights of AgitÁgueda is the gigantic tent provided by GlobalTendas. With an impressive area of 2250 m2, this polygonal tent has become an icon of the event. Its innovative structure and imposing design provide a wide and versatile space to host different shows, activities and taverns, ensuring that visitors have a unique and memorable experience. Decorated with the famous umbrellas, the GlobalTendas tent and stage stand out as a must-see attraction, attracting the attention of everyone who visits AgitÁgueda.
In addition to the polygonal tent and the main stage, GlobalTendas installed a multistandard tent with 375 m2 of support.
The Success of the Event
AgitÁgueda 2023 was once again a great success, thanks to the perfect combination of music, urban art and quality entertainment. The GlobalTendas structures contributed to an ideal setting for the festival’s shows and activities. Thousands of visitors were able to enjoy the 23 days of contagious entertainment, while the city of Águeda was transformed into a colourful cultural playground, where creativity and art harmoniously meet. Year after year, the festival continues to delight and surprise, remaining one of the most anticipated cultural events in Portugal.
